I am Canadian fibre artist from the Greater Toronto Area.

I am a gigantic nerd with a love of murder mysteries, queer stories, fun fandoms, and snarky quotes.

I have always been creative. I learned to sew when I was 9, started to cross stitch at 13, and picked up knitting more than 15 years ago.

I have been fortunate to be able to explore many artistic mediums throughout my life and it’s the fibre arts that continually fuel my creativity.

Sparkles is a nickname of mine given to me many years ago in celebration of my love of all things glittery. I love bright colours, natural fibres, simple design lines, and a good cup of tea.
